Development of Interactive Tools

Shodor's staff and interns are charged with developing the following web-based resources, useful for educators and students:

	The Computational Science Reference Desk (CSERD) Shodor is one of four institutions nationally charged with providing the scientific content for the National Science Digital Library (NSDL). Shodor developes and maintains CSERD as a peer reviewed resource in the computational science education.
	Interactivate This is a popular set of interactive online materials for math and science education - for grades 3 through 12.
	Master Tools Online software for mathematical and scientific modeling.
	Computational Chemistry North Carolina's high school chemistry students and teachers have free access to a dedicated research-level computer that supports advanced computing in chemistry.
	DEAF STEM Online lessons and activities with corresponding sign language video for hearing impaired students and their instructors.
	Braille through Remote Learning Providing educators, parents, future and current braille transcribers, and other interested persons with the knowledge to create Grade 2 braille documents using one or several braille writing devices.
	SUCCEED Curriculum A collection of activities and lesson plans adapted from Shodor's own workshops that incorporate computational elements into math and science explorations.
